A permanent winter sprinkler ban applies to all scheme and bore water users in Perth, Mandurah and some parts of the South West, from 1 June to 31 August each year.
Hand held watering and maintenance testing of bores is still allowed, but anyone using their sprinklers between 1 June and 31 August risks a $100 fine.
Normal watering rosters apply to all other areas of the state. Use the menus below to find out if your suburb is included in the ban.
You can report breaches at anytime by calling our waterwise line on 13 10 39.
A malfunctioning irrigation controller is not an excuse for not complying with the winter ban, so please check your irrigation system – especially after a power black-out.
